Provides general readers with an authoritative reference source which is up-to-date and easy-to-use. The Guide covers diseases, disorders, treatments, procedures, specialties, anatomy, biology, and A-to-Z issues. There is also a pharmaceuticals list surveying brand name and generic drugs, as well as a symptoms and warning signs list.

Alternative & Complementary Therapies
The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine is part of the National Institutes of Health. Their site offers information on approaches to health care that are not currently considered to be part of conventional medicine, but are being studied.

This site provides basic information about complementary and alternative therapies in veterinary medicine, including articles and extensive links to related sites.
