Saturday Drop-in story times
- for ages 2-6 from 1-1:45 pm
- Can’t come to our week day story times? Then this is the day for you and your child to enjoy some stories, songs and an activity based upon a book that we read.
Lil' MDGs' Thousand Cranes for Peace Origami Workshop
- Saturday, March 13
- 1 to 3 pm
Join us to make paper cranes to be sent to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Tokyo, Japan. Your service will go towards qualifying for a free ticket to Disney! Please read the instructions here. And be sure to register for your spot at the workshop by calling the Children's Room at 432-6140.

Veggies Are Good To Eat: That’s No Fairy Tale!
March is National Nutrition Month.
Join Registered Dietician, Alyysa Leuchte, for a story time where she will encourage children to eat healthier and provide helpful information to parents and caregivers. She will read the story, "The Vegetables We Eat" by Gail Gibbons.
When: Tuesday March 23rd at 11:00 am or Wednesday March 24th at 3:30pm
Who: Ages 2 to 8 with adult caregiver.
You do not need to register for these programs.
You Read, You Score!
The Manchester Monarchs are proud to partner with local libraries to reward young bookworms with a FREE ticket to a Manchester Monarchs Hockey game.
All you have to do is:
- 1. Read 5 books for your age group and reading ability
- 2. Come to the library and fill out a library form showing the 5 books you have read and receive a Monarch’s ticket form
- 3. Send the library form along with the Monarch’s form to the Manchester Monarchs
- 4. Receive your free ticket to an upcoming Monarchs game at the Verizon Center in Manchester!

Paws for Reading
with Hawke, a certified Therapy Dog
Come meet this amazing 8 year old Labrador retriever and sign up to read to her!
Hawke is a very patient dog who loves being read to by children. She's a certified therapy dog
with Therapy Dogs International. She loves new and experienced readers and really enjoys visiting with
the children. When she's not reading, Hawke lives in Plaistow with her sister and brother Labs
and human family.
Hawke will be visiting our library on the second Wednesday of each month. Call the Children's Room at 432-6140 for the dates & times. Sign-up for your 15-minute session to read to Hawke!
