Derry Public Library Presents a History in Pictures

In 1901, Benjamin Adams left a bequest to the town of Derry of $10,000 to be used to build the “Benjamin Adams Memorial Building” which was to contain “a public hall” and “suitable rooms for the keeping of the town library,” as well as town offices and fire-proof vaults for storage of town records.
